Peoria Richwoods summer hoops shootout gives IHSA refs hands-on summer training

(25News Now) - When Peoria Richwoods hosted a summer basketball shootout event this past weekend, it was a chance for players to hone their skills and get ready for the upcoming season. The players, though, were not alone.
The event also served as a certified refereeing clinic for IHSA officials. It’s a chance for the referees to improve and hear feedback about their performances just like the players received on the other side of the coin.
