House damaged after early morning fire in Peoria
PEORIA (25News Now) - The Peoria Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 1000 block of Northeast Monroe around 2:30 Sunday morning.
According to a press release from Battalion Chief Stephen Rada, crews found the second floor and roof of the house on fire. It took the work of several companies to fully extinguish the fire.
The home is believed to have been vacant, and no one was injured.
The fire is still under investigation, but damage is estimated at $50,000.
