Bloomington’s Free Lunchtime Concerts return

PEORIA (25News Now) - The City of Bloomington’s Free Lunchtime Concerts are back!

The series kicked off Wednesday and will continue on June 7, 14, 21 and 28.

All shows will run from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Withers Park in downtown Bloomington.

Jill Eichholz, the program manager for the Parks and Recreation Department says they are excited to bring back this popular series for the summer.

“We’re here to do things for the community, give people things to do. We know lunchtime isn’t for everybody but it’s also just another way to be able to reach people and something that everybody can come to because this is not an event that we charge people to come to,” said Eichholz.

this year’s lineup includes local acoustic rock, folk and blue grass artists.
