Saturday night shooting leaves 1 with serious injuries, says police

PEORIA (25News Now) - 1 person was left with serious injuries after a Saturday night shooting in Peoria.
Peoria Police spokesperson Semone Roth says that officers responded to the 1900 block of Peoria Street for a six-round ShotSpotter alert.
A woman was located inside a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The incident is under investigation. There is no suspect information.
