Man arrested at Summer Camp for allegedly endangering life, health of child

CHILLICOTHE (25News Now) - A man was arrested Sunday night for allegedly endangering the life or health of a child at Summer Camp.

According to a police report, someone near the playground at Three Sisters Park alerted police after an eight-year-old girl approached them - saying she couldn’t find her father.

The report says 40-year-old Chad Miller of Hillsdale, near Moline, was later arrested when he arrived at the medical tent over an hour later in search of his daughter.

Miller says he fell asleep and lost sight of her.

The child’s mother arrived from Moline to get her.
