Man arrested in connection with carjacking

PEORIA (25News Now) - 1 person was arrested after allegedly carjacking a vehicle Sunday night.
Peoria Police spokesperson Semone Roth says the man, Michael K. Miller, was arrested for vehicular hijacking.
At around 6:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of West Willow Wood.
They found a man who told police he was approached by an unknown man who demanded his vehicle.
The man implied he was armed, but did not show a weapon.
The victim was not injured.
The vehicle was located at around 6:55 p.m. wrecked and unoccupied on Grandview Drive.
Miller was located during a search of the area, at the pavilion at the base of Grandview Drive.
