Peoria police say missing man has been found safe

PEORIA (25News Now) - Peoria police say the man reported missing Saturday has been found safe.

Around 6 p.m. Sunday, police notified 25News that 22-year-old Fijuan Evans was found safe and is doing well.

Peoria police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing person.

Police say around 1:30 p.m. Saturday, the family of 22-year-old Fijuan Evans reported him missing.

Evans was last seen early Saturday morning in the 1200 block of NE Monroe. He was wearing blue shorts, a black puffy coat and tan boots.

Evans is a Black man. He’s about 5′5′' and weighs 125 pounds. He has brown eyes and short black hair.

Police say Evans frequently hangs around the Citilink Transit Center, First United Methodist Church and the Peoria Riverfront.
