Warming up each day through Memorial Day Weekend
Sunshine continues!
PEORIA (25News Now) - The final weekend in May will be a pleasant one! Tonight, will be a little chilly with lows falling into the upper 40s with clear skies and a breeze. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will climb into the low 80s, then we’ll warm into the mid to upper 80s for Memoria Day. We’ll start off with sunshine for the first half of Saturday, but we’ll see some clouds build in from the southeast Saturday evening and they’ll likely linger through Sunday, so we’ll call it partly cloudy through Monday. Overall, plenty of dry and comfortable weather with low humidity to enjoy the outdoors this weekend!

After the holiday weekend, the heat gets turned up. Highs will likely be in the 90s Tuesday through Friday and may even continue into the weekend. As we get into the end of next week, humidity looks to increase a bit, but excessive heat doesn’t look to be a concern at this time.

Isolated showers look to be in the region Thursday, so we’ll introduce a light rain chance then, however trends are mostly dry. Friday and Saturday we may see some daytime thunderstorms, so we’ve added some precipitation chances to the 10-day forecast. Unfortunately, widespread rain doesn’t look likely within the extended forecast, so our rain deficit will likely continue.
