PEORIA (25News Now) - A Pekin man who works as a local disc jockey is free from jail after posting bond on a charge alleging he was in possession of child pornography.
Peoria Police arrested Mason Stoor, 25, on Thursday.
Court records say on or about Sept. 5 of last year, Stoor was in possession of images showing pornography involving people he knew or should have known were younger than 18.
The charge against Stoor is a Class 2 felony carrying a prison sentence of three-to-seven years if he’s convicted. Stoor could also be given probation if he’s found guilty.
Peoria County Judge Sean Donahue set bond at $10,000. Court records show Stoor paid 10% of the bond, or $1.000, to be released from jail.
He’s scheduled to appear in court again on June 22.
