Trial date set for stabbing suspect

PEORIA (25News Now) - A December trial date is set for a man who allegedly stabbed another man in early April.
Forty-three-year-old Samuel Oyeyemi, also known as Samuel Hicks, was found inside a home on North Frink on April 6 after a man was found with stab wounds.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers later learned the suspect and the victim were in a physical altercation.
Hicks is due back in court in November.
