Morton’s Tommy Kuhl looks to help deliver national championship for Illini golf and head coach Mike Small

(25News Now) - The Illini golf team has landed in Arizona for this weekend’s NCAA National Championships. It’s a familiar spot for Illini head coach Mike Small who has guided the Orange and Blue to 14 of the last 15 national championship tournaments, but he’s still chasing the big one. He’s still in search of the program’s first national title.
Morton native Tommy Kuhl is hoping to help Coach Small fulfill that national title dream. He considers Coach Small one of his biggest mentors on the golf course.
