1 person burned after blown-over grill reportedly catches home on fire

PEORIA (25News Now) - A woman was taken to the hospital after suffering minor burns in a house fire earlier Monday.
Peoria Fire Battalion Chief Steve Rada says firefighters responded to the 2700 block of West Millbrook Court earlier Monday for a report of a home on fire, finding the back of a home on fire extending into the attic.
According to the department release, the resident says her house caught on fire from a grill the blew over next to the home.
She was treated by paramedics on scene before being taken to the hospital.
No one else was home.
Damage was estimated at $50,000.
