1 person injured in hit-and-run crash

PEORIA (25News Now) - One person is injured after a hit-and-run crash in Peoria.
Peoria Police Spokesperson Semone Roth says around 6:25 p.m. Saturday, a driver hit another driver and then fled the scene. As that driver was fleeing, they crashed at the Gale Avenue overpass at I-74 westbound.
Roth says the driver who fled suffered minor injuries and the driver who was initially hit was not hurt.
The investigation is underway and no arrests have been made.
