Peoria Piggies rugby celebrates 50th anniversary

(25News Now) - About 45 years ago, the Peoria Rugby Football Club played a very muddy rugby match. That day they earned the nickname the ‘Peoria Piggies’. This weekend those Piggies are celebrating their 50th anniversary.
50 years later, the Piggies still love getting dirty on the field and they want even more people to come out, join the team and become a Peoria Piggy.
