(25News Now) - The three-time defending Mid-Illini baseball champions got another solid win on Friday. Washington took down Kaneland 5-0 in a non-conference battle. In small schools action, Eureka topped Roanoke-Benson 11-1 to secure their 28th win on the season. In ICAC action, Peoria Christian

In softball, Olympia picked up an impressive non-conference win 8-7 over Illini Bluffs.

In soccer, Normal U-High won their own regional title with a 9-0 win over Macomb. The Pioneers now advance to next week’s Williamsville sectional. Also advancing is Bloomington Central Catholic who won the Monmouth-Roseville regional. The crosstown rivals could potentially meet in the sectional final next Friday.

And it was a special day at Metamora as basketball state champ and high jump state-hopeful Drew Tucker signed to participate in track at SIU-Edwardsville.
