(25News Now) - Conference championship week in girls track wrapped up on Friday with the Big Twelve Conference meet at Champaign Central. Normal Community won the team championship with a terrific day, including four wins for superstar junior Ali Ince in the 400, 800 and as the anchor in the 4x800 and 4x400. Tremont also hosted a big track invitational on Friday.
In baseball, Normal West topped Normal U-High 1-0 in a crosstown rivalry matchup. Elsewhere, Limestone beat Peoria Notre Dame 5-4 and Washington edged Rochester 6-5. East Peoria, meanwhile, picked up a 9-7 win over LaSalle-Peru.
In softball, Normal U-High beat Normal Community 7-0 in a Twin Cities rivalry matchup. In Chillicothe, IVC fell 1-0 to Tolono Unity.
In soccer, Richwoods topped Pekin 2-0 and Metamora beat Peoria Christian at the Kickin’ Out Cancer event.
In boys lacrosse, Washington beat O’Fallon 11-6.
