Bloomington Central Catholic’s Cole Certa commits to Notre Dame

(25News Now) - After a high school season that saw multiple Power 5 coaches come to watch him play, Bloomington Central Catholic standout Cole Certa has made his college commitment. The 6-foot-5 sharpshooter announced his commitment to Notre Dame and head coach Micah Shrewsberry on Thursday.
Certa credits his relationship with the coaching staff, who recruited him heavily when they were at Penn State, as a big motivator in his commitment to the Irish.
The all-stater averaged 26 points per game and helped lead the Saints to the Class 2A state finals a season ago. He chose Notre Dame over offers from the likes of Illinois, Northwestern, Nebraska and Bradley among others.
