(25News Now) - Conference meet week in girls high school track continued on Wednesday with the Mid-Illini meet at Eastside Centre in East Peoria. Dunlap walked away with the team title as Mid-Illini teams now prepare for sectionals next week.
In baseball, Washington maintained its place atop the Mid-Illini with a 15-4 win over Dunlap. Elsewhere, Morton got a bounceback win 4-2 over East Peoria while Pekin beat Canton 5-2 and Limestone beat Metamora 11-4. At Dozer Park, Peoria Christian beat Peoria Heights 7-1 in the War on War Memorial.
In softball, Washington raced past Canton 13-0 in Mid-Illini play.
Illini Bluffs topped Tremont 5-4 in a battle of small schools powers.
