Swinging and Blinging: Softball players thrilled with new jewelry rule

PEORIA (25News Now) - Thanks to a newly passed rule from the National Federation of High Schools, Illinois softball players are getting the chance to wear some bling on the field this season.
The new rule allows softball players to wear jewelry during games and softball players from all over Central Illinois are excited for the new opportunity.
Their coaches are also excited that they no longer have to police and monitor their players’ jewelry-wearing.
