25 Sports High School Saturday - April 29, 2023
(25News Now) - A couple of Big Twelve vs. Mid-Illini baseball and softball matchups headlined the day in high school sports on Saturday.
In baseball, Normal Community held of a 7th inning rally to pick up a 3-2 win over East Peoria. Elsewhere, Normal West picked up an 11-5 win over Dunlap. In other non-conference action, Morton used a 10-run fifth inning to get roll past Tremont 10-0.
In softball, Normal West picked up a great non-conference win 2-1 over East Peoria. Illini Bluffs was also a non-conference winner with an 8-5 victory over Limestone.
In lacrosse, Washington fell 11-8 to Lincoln-Way West while Dunlap picked up a 23-8 win over Plainfield North.
On the track, Morton hosted their annual Distance Gala.
