(25News Now) - A great weekend of softball came to an end on Saturday in Washington at the 25th annual Washington Panther Classic. The host Panthers made it to the championship game but wound up falling to a very good Barrington team to finish in second place. Elsewhere in softball, Normal West topped Moline 2-0.
In baseball, defending Big Twelve Conference champion Bloomington beat previously conference undefeated Peoria Notre Dame 10-5.
In lacrosse, Washington beat Plainfield North 12-3 while Bloomington-Normal beat Oak Forest 9-5.
