Pontiac softball locked in and focused on another deep state tournament run

PEORIA (25News Now) - When Pontiac softball made its run to the IHSA State Finals in 2022, they were an extremely young team. 14 of their 20 players were sophomores or younger including a remarkable nine freshmen. That means this year’s team is also very young, but they have tons of big-game experience. They’re hoping that experience plus a very focused mentality will help lead them back to the state finals and beyond their fourth-place finish from a season ago.
