Juvenile injured in Peoria shooting
Police say his injuries are not life-threatening

PEORIA (25News Now) - A juvenile was taken to the hospital with an apparent gunshot wound and non-life-threatening injuries to the chest after police responded to a three-round ShotSpotter alert Wednesday night.
Peoria Police spokesperson Semone Roth says officers responded at around 8:32 p.m. to the 700 block of North Hightower.
Officers located an unoccupied vehicle struck by gunfire. No victims were located.
At around 8:39 p.m., police learned a 17-year-old man was taken to a hospital by private vehicle.
The incident is under investigation. There is currently no suspect information.
