Hundreds gather for candlelight memory walk to remember Drew Fehr and Dylan Bazzell

FAIRBURY (25News Now) - Hundreds of people came together in Fairbury Saturday night to remember the lives of Drew Fehr and Dylan Bazzell, two Prairie Central High School athletes, who died Sunday in a sledding accident in Colorado.

A candlelight vigil walk for Bazzell and Fehr was held at 7 p.m. in Fairbury. The group of mourners walked from the First Baptist Church of Fairbury to the “Memory Wall” at the Prairie Central High School football field.

Three businesses in the Prairie Central School District gave away blue porch light bulbs to light the communities in memory of Bazzell and Fehr with donations going toward the boys’ memorials.
