Rain tonight, then snow tomorrow morning
1-2 inches possible in some locations
PEORIA (25News Now) - Rain will move in from the south mainly after 5 o’clock this evening. They will become more widespread after dinner time and will continue overnight. Rainfall amounts will be between half an inch to an inch. Early tomorrow morning we’ll see a change over to snow that will bring minor accumulations across the area. Best chances to see up to an inch of snow will be north of route 9. Up to 2 inches is possible in our northwestern counties.

Clouds will begin to break apart for the second half of Saturday, so we’ll see some sunshine, but highs will still be cooler in the low to mid 40s. Sunday will feature a mostly dry day, but we may see an isolated shower squeeze out in the afternoon. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the low 50s.

Unfortunately, more rain will arrive Sunday evening into Monday morning. There’s a slight chance we could see some snow mix in for areas northwest of the river, but time will help us finetune that angle. The rest of Monday should trend drier and below average with mostly cloudy skies and highs near 50.
