Round1 at Northwoods Mall to close in May

PEORIA (25News Now) - Peoria will soon lose one of its entertainment options.

Round1 Bowling and Amusement in Northwoods Mall plans to close after about 4 1/2-years in business.

The final day is Sunday, May 21 at 10 p.m.

Store manager Krista Hamrick cited slow sales for the closure.

She said Round1 employs 24 full-and-part-timers.

Hamrick said Round1 first opened for business at Northwoods in November 2017.

Until the final day, Round1 will be open Sunday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from noon until midnight.
