Rain returns tomorrow afternoon, light snow possible Saturday morning
PEORIA (25News Now) - Today we saw rain early and were dry for most of the day. Tomorrow we will flip the script with rain chances increasing later in the day. We may see a wintry mix or possibly even snow showers Saturday morning, but then expect a nice warm-up for the second half of next week.
This Evening and Tonight:
It’ll be cool this evening with temperatures in the 40s. Lows tomorrow morning will fall back into the low to mid 30s.
Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies overnight with wind gusts upward of 20 mph.
Tomorrow and This Weekend:
Tomorrow will start mostly cloudy but dry. Showers will be possible as early as tomorrow afternoon, but more widespread rain will be likely tomorrow evening and tomorrow night.
Showers will continue into Saturday morning, but as lows fall back into the low to mid 30s there will be a chance for a wintry mix or snow. Some minor snow accumulation may be possible northwest of Peoria. Any rain/snow showers should end by lunchtime and we may even see some clearing Saturday afternoon.
Saturday will be cool once again with highs in the mid 40s, but temperatures should rebound into the 50s on Sunday.
