St. Jude Dream Home Open House tours begin

PEORIA (25News Now) - The doors of this year’s St. Jude Dream Home opened on Saturday to kick off this official open house tours.

Saturday was the first day of the official open house tours for the half-a-million-dollar home in Edwards.

Anyone who wanted to see the beauty of the house firsthand, before the new owners move in, had to chance to tour it.

The three-bedroom home features modern décor and has a minimalist flair and an open concept.

Suzanne Miller, one of the brokers from Jim Maloof Realty -- the agency helping give away the home -- says the winner is in for quite a treat.

”It is turnkey. It is literally move-in ready. It has everything you would want in a house that is one-floor living,” Miller said. “There’s also a full basement that can be finished off but it has everything I would want in a home.”

The open house tours will be held every weekend through April 16, leading up to the drawing on April 19, when the winner of the Dream Home will be announced.

Tours will be available on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
