Whiskey City Revolution Demolition Derby

The Second Annual Whiskey City Revolution Demolition Derby is back at the Peoria Civic Center! The indoor demolition derby features high-speed chases, roll overs, and a whole bunch of excitement. You won’t want to miss this event with over 200 cars and drivers from all over the country competing for $60,000 dollars in prize money.

When: March 18 at 6:00 p.m.

Where: Peoria Civic Center Arena

Eddy P & Tightest Birthday Comedy Showcase

How about a night full of laughter at the Annual Eddy P and Tightest Birthday Comedy Showcase? The headliner is actor and comedian Mike Samp. Other acts include Ray “Philly” Phillips, Bird, and Yort the Magician.

When: March 18 at 8:00 p.m. (doors open at 6:00 p.m.)

Where: Landmark Grand Ball Room, 3225 North Dries Lane in Peoria

Cost: $40 at the door

5th Annual Prom Dress Giveaway

If you know a high school student looking for a prom dress, look no further. It Takes a Village of Peoria, Inc. is hosting its 5th Annual Prom Dress Giveaway. No registration is required for the event, and everything is free, including dresses of all sizes, shoes, accessories, and more for that special day.

When: March 18 from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Where: Sterling Plaza, 3703 North Sterling Ave. in Peoria

Spring 2023 Consignment Sale

Peoria Mothers of Twins is hosting a consignment sale at the Riverplex. Shop from 18,000 sq. feet of clothing, shoes, strollers, car seats, and more -- in a range of sizes from preemie to teens. Cash, Venmo, and credit will all be accepted. The sale is open to the public.

When: March 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Annual Circle of a Promise Breakfast

The Circle of Promise breast cancer survivor, caregiver, and friends breakfast is this morning at the Par-A-Dice Hotel Ballroom. Arrive early to shop with a variety of vendors before breakfast. This year’s keynote speaker is Sheila Johnson, a passionate breast cancer health advocate, mother, MBC thriver, and author.

When: March 18 at 9:00 a.m. (doors open at 8:00 a.m.)

Where: Par-A-Dice Hotel Ballroom, 21 Blackjack Blvd in East Peoria

Cost: Guests are $15 | Survivors are free
