PEORIA (25News Now) - Peoria Police say two juveniles firing fully automatic handguns at a passing car was the reason for a 30-round ShotSpotter alert Wednesday.
According to a release, officers responded to the 2300 block of West Garden for the alert.
3 more rounds were fired in the same location before police arrived.
Several houses and vehicles were hit by gunfire.
No one was injured. The suspects fled on foot.
A police K-9 brought in to track the suspects was not successful.
The incident is under investigation.
