St. Patrick’s Day parade kicks off Friday
Parade stages in the 200-400 blocks of Romeo B. Garrett Avenue

PEORIA (25News Now) - The St. Patrick Society of Peoria’s annual parade is Friday, March 17, starting at 11 a.m.
The parade will start at the intersection of Monroe at William Kumpf, travel northeast on Monroe to Main, turn right from Main to Jefferson, Jefferson to Liberty, Liberty to Adams, then end at Adams and Hamilton.
The parade will stage in the 200-400 block of Romeo B. Garrett Avenue.
The City of Peoria says parking is prohibited along the parade route. Vehicles will be relocated to the RiverPlex parking lot in the event they are not removed.
Meters will be bagged.
The following intersections will be impacted, from around 10 - 1 p.m.:
- Monroe and Kumpf
- Monroe and Fulton
- Monroe and Main
- Main and Madison
- Main and Jefferson
Participants should arrive in the staging area at 10 a.m. Friday.
