Oglesby man in court Wednesday on charges of aggravated battery to a child

PEORIA (25News Now) - An Oglesby man is due back in court Wednesday on charges of aggravated battery to a child.
Oglesby Police confirm that 27-year-old Aaron Marsh was arrested Monday night.
He was taken into custody at about 6 p.m. after video posted to Facebook showed a man appearing to be Marsh repeatedly and aggressively slapping a toddler in the head on at least two different occasions.
Police arrested Marsh after a firestorm of comments were posted in response to the videos.
Court records show that Marsh did not appear in court Tuesday, after refusing to come from jail.
His bond was set at $150,000 dollars.
