Juvenile arrested on gun offense, alleged assault

BLOOMINGTON (25News Now) - A juvenile was arrested after allegedly threatening family members with a gun in Bloomington.
Bloomington Police say officers were called Friday, March 10, to the 800 block of East Douglas.
After speaking with the juvenile male, police say it was determined that he would be arrested, according to a release.
At the time of the arrest, the juvenile fled, but was apprehended a short time later.
At the home, a firearm was located and taken as evidence.
Police say the juvenile is facing preliminary charges of domestic battery, aggravated assault, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and resisting a peace officer.
No one was injured.
