Mental health crisis prelude to house fire Monday

PEORIA (25News Now) - A mental health crisis was the cause for the Peoria Fire Department’s presence on West Starr Street Monday.
According to the fire chief on scene, the resident of that home lit a fire right by the front door.
That fire was able to be put out with an extinguisher before anyone was hurt.
The cause of the fire was deemed arson because the homeowner set the fire.
