GasBuddy: Average prices around Peoria on the rise

PEORIA (25News Now) - The average price of gas around Peoria has risen 8.4 cents per gallon in the last week and now averages $3.57 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy’s 148 station survey.
Prices in the River City are 11.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and a little over a dollar per gallon lower than a year ago.
The cheapest station in Peoria was priced at 3.36 per gallon Sunday. The most expensive was $3.89 per gallon - a 53-cent difference.
Around Illinois, the lowest price was $3.13 per gallon. The highest was $4.69 per gallon - a $1.56 per gallon difference.
Around the nation, the average has risen 8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.44 per gallon Monday.
The national average is up 7.1 cents per gallon from a month ago and is 87.7 cents per gallon lowe than this time last year.
The national average price of diesel has fallen 4.1 cents in the last week and is now $4.30 per gallon.
