Victim identified in Peoria’s third homicide of 2023

PEORIA (25News Now) - The identity of the victim of Peoria’s third homicide of the year is now known.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says the man, 34-year-old Lamario Billups, of Peoria, was transported to OSF in grave condition.
He was pronounced deceased at 2:09 p.m. Wednesday.
The initial examination noted a single stab wound to the chest.
Harwood says a formal forensic autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
Heaven M. Kruzan, 22, was arrested for first-degree murder.
She was arrested Wednesday in the 1700 block of South Griswold, according to police.
She has yet to be formally charged.
