PEORIA (25News Now) - Peoria Police say they have four people in custody following an armed carjacking led to a crash near Bradley University Wednesday evening.
Police were called about 8 p.m. to the 1400 block of North Ellis Street, near West Armstrong Avenue and Peoria High School, where someone armed with a handgun stole a car.
No one was hurt from the carjacking, but police said they saw the stolen vehicle on Nebraska Avenue and University Street before it crashed into another vehicle a few blocks away at University and Main Street.
Two people in the struck vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries, said Police Spokesperson Semone Roth.
No information was available about the four suspects.
