12 & 13-year-olds, adult arrested after Wed. night armed carjacking

PEORIA (25News Now) - Peoria Police say a 12-year old, two 13-year-olds and an adult man were arrested on multiple offenses stemming from a carjacking Wednesday night.
1 of the 13-year-olds was arrested for aggravated vehicle hijacking and resisting police.
The other 13-year-old was arrested for aggravated fleeing and eluding, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, resisting police and several traffic violations.
The 12-year-old was arrested for criminal trespass to a motor vehicle and resisting police.
All three were transported to the juvenile detention center.
The adult, 18-year-old Sentaries R. Farmer, was arrested for vehicular hijacking, aggravated assault and resisting police.
He was transported to the Peoria County Jail.

Peoria Police spokesperson Semone Roth says police responded at around 8:01 p.m. Wednesday to the 1400 block of North Ellis.
A man was located who told police he was approached by two males outside his vehicle. One was armed with a handgun.
He was not injured.
The suspects then drove way in the stolen vehicle heading southbound on Ellis.
Officers observed the stolen vehicle driving near the 1700 block of Great Oak, which fled the area at a high rate of speed when officers attempted to stop the vehicle.
The vehicle then crashed into another at the intersection of Main and University near Bradley University.
The four fled the scene on foot but were quickly apprehended by Peoria and Bradley police.
The two occupants in the vehicle that was struck suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The four had been transported to the hospital with minor injuries before being transported to the police department and subsequently arrested.
