Eastbound lane closure of McClugage Bridge set for Wednesday and Thursday

PEORIA (25 News Now) - The right lane of the eastbound lanes of US 150 over the McClugage Bridge will be closed for parts of Wednesday and Thursday, March 8 & 9.

The Illinois Department of Transportation says the closure is necessary to accommodate work on the new McClugage Bridge and will take place from 7-2:30 p.m. both days.

IDOT says motorists can expect delays and should allow for extra time for trips through the area.

The use of alternate routes should be considered.
