1 injured after fight leads to shooting Sunday

PEORIA (25 News Now) - Police say a man was shot during a fight with another man Sunday.

Peoria Police spokesperson Semone Roth says officers responded at around 9:06 p.m. to the 3000 block of North Sterling, finding both men had fled in two vehicles before police arrived.

Later, officers responded to a local hospital after a man arrived by private vehicle with a gunshot wound.

The status of that man is unknown.

The incident is currently under investigation. There is currently no suspect information.
