PEORIA (25 News Now) - It’s known for being the largest Comic Cons in the Midwest.
PeoriaCon has come to an end for the season.
People attend this event from St. Louis and Chicago because it’s full of artists, big-time authors, seminars, and famous celebrities including voice actors and animators.
We had a chance to meet the original Black Power Ranger, Walter Emanuel Jones, who says with so many fans of the early shows in attendance with their kids who are also watchers, by attending PeoriaCon, he’s able to reach across generations.
”Man I came here yesterday and had so much love, I was busy all day. Everybody is happy. You never find anybody that’s unhappy at a Comic Con. Everyone is smiling and what I get to do is I get to bring smiles to people’s faces, and I love that,” says Jones.
Sunday’s PeoriaCon featured a huge cosplay contest with the winner taking home a major cash prize.
