No students injured in Bloomington school bus accident

BLOOMINGTON (25 News Now) - A Bloomington District 87 spokesperson says no students were injured after a vehicle slid into a school bus Friday afternoon.

Director of Communications Gina Lavazza says students at Bent School at the intersection of Walnut and Roosevelt were on the bus when the incident happened shortly after dismissal, which is around 3:15 PM.

Lavazza adds the students were checked out and cleared by the Bloomington Fire Department. Another bus came to take the students home.

No further information has been released.
