Costume Trunk owner looks to pass business on, ready for new chapter

PEORIA (25 News Now) - After 40 years, the Costume Trunk in Peoria is looking for a new owner.
Steve Spain started the business in 1981.
He says the store isn’t closing. He’s ready for a new chapter in his life and wants to pass the businesses on to someone else.
“Especially in the nature of this business, everybody that comes in is generally very excited for their event, their show, parade, celebration. I’ve been a part of that for years, so it will be hard to walk away, but sometimes you have to do and that’s why I would really like for someone else to take over,” he said.
Spain also says there are already people who are interested.
