UPDATE: McLean County Sheriff’s Office asks for public’s help to find car tied to homicide

UPDATE (9:20 p.m) - McLean County Sheriff’s Office released a photo Wednesday night of a car linked to the fatal shooting of Kiejoun Watts, 20, of Bloomington, whose body was found Monday night at Victory Church on U.S. Highway 150 in rural Bloomington.
In a Facebook post. investigators said they’re trying to find a black 2015 Lincoln MKZ sedan. The license plate number is DP94861.
Anyone with information about the car or the homicide investigation is asked to call Detective Hanner at 309-888-5063 or Detective Henkel at 309-888-5049. Anyone who sees the car is asked to call 911.
UPDATE (6:20 p.m.) - McLean County Sheriff Matthew Lane told 25 News Tuesday night that the shooting death of Kiejoun Watts, 20, of Bloomington, is being investigated as a homicide.
The corner says Watts died of a gunshot wound. His body was found Monday night on property owned by Victory Church at 18180 US Highway 150 in rural Bloomington.
UPDATE (5:45 p.m.) - The McLean County Coroner has identified the man who was found dead at Victory Church Monday night.
Dr. Kathy Yoder says Kiejoun Watts, 20, of Bloomington died from a gunshot wound.
Toxicology results are pending.

UPDATE (2:40 p.m.) - Victory Church has released a statement on Facebook, saying no personal information about the man has been shared with the church leadership nor do they know anything about the events leading up to the tragedy.
The church’s leadership has pledged full cooperation with law enforcement as they conduct their investigation.
The church also asks its members and the public to refrain from going to the construction site at the church where the incident occurred.
They will be holding a special prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at Journey Church in Normal.
BLOOMINGTON (25 News Now) - The death of a man found on the property of Victory Church is being investigated.
A joint release from the McLean County Coroner and sheriff’s office says deputies were dispatched to Victory Church at 18180 US 150 on an unresponsive man.
The sheriff’s office, coroner’s office and Illinois State Police Crime Scene Unit are investigating.
No further information is available.
