Illini’s Underwood impressed by local small-school Illinois high school hoops while recruiting

CHAMPAIGN (25 News Now) - The Bloomington Central Catholic vs. Prairie Central high school basketball game on February 7 was one of the big games of week. It was also one of the best games of the year. The gym was packed for the big Illini Prairie Conference showdown.
Among those in the gym, Illinois head coach Brad Underwood. Underwood was there to recruit. It was obvious to everyone there that Underwood, who is used to recruiting in big city high schools, was having a great time at a great small school Illinois hoops game.
