25 Sports High School Monday - February 13, 2023
CENTRAL ILLINOIS (25 News Now) - The girls high school basketball state tournament going into full swing Monday.
In the Class 3A Dunlap Regional, Peoria High rolls past Metamora 61-27, and the host Dunlap edges Peoria Richwoods 46-40. Dunlap and Peoria High will meet for a Regional title Thursday.
In the Class 3A Limestone Regional, Washington cruises past Limestone 57-40, and Peoria Notre Dame gets a 47-17 win over Morton. Washington and Peoria Notre Dame will now play for a Regional title Thursday.
In the Class 2A Olympia Regional, Dee-Mack defeats Normal U-High 53-27. In the Class 2A Eureka Regional, Canton edges Peoria Heights 41-35, and the host Hornets get a big win over Bloomington Central Catholic 55-53. Canton and Eureka will now play for a Regional title Friday.
In the Class 1A Havana Regional, the host Ducks roll past A-Town 49-25.
In boys action, Illini Bluffs gets a win over Illini Central 69-36.
