Illinois State women win 10th-straight game, Bradley falls to Belmont

CENTRAL ILLINOIS (25 News Now) - The Illinois State women continued its hot streak Sunday with a 79-73 win over Murray State at CEFCU Arena. The Redbirds trailed by five at the half, however, would rally with a massive third quarter attack, outscoring Murray State 27-8 in the quarter.
The Redbirds were paced by Paige Robinson who had 24 points. DeAnna Wilson chipped in 16 points, Kate Bullman added 16, and Mary Crompton had 10.
The win gives Illinois State its tenth-straight win and moves them to 11-1 in MVC play to lead the conference.
Meanwhile, Bradley dropped its 15th-straight game Sunday, falling 68-54 to Belmont. Caroline Waite led the Braves with 15 points. Alex Rouse chipped in 11.
