Caterpillar releases fourth quarter numbers and full-year financial results

PEORIA (25 News Now) - Caterpillar’s full-year financial results appear to show steady growth in 2022, as the company released its fourth-quarter and full-year 2022 financial results Tuesday morning.

Fourth quarter results show sales and revenue at 16.6 billion, up from $13.8 billion during the same quarter in 2021. That’s an increase of 20%.

Overall sales and revenue for 2022 were 59.4 billion. That’s an increase of 17% from 2021.

Caterpillar’s profit per share 4th quarter numbers at $2.79 decreasing from $3.91 12 months ago. That’s despite those numbers profit per share for the year from $11.83 to $12.64.

The company has not released any financial outlook.
