$60,000 worth of damages in overnight house fire in Peoria

PEORIA (25 News Now) - Peoria Firefighters responded to a house fire on W. Millman St. around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday.
When fire officials arrived, smoke was seen coming from inside the one and a half story home.
The stairs of the home were severely burned, causing fire crews to pull out a ladder to enter the second level of the house through a window.
The roof of the house was also severely damaged.
No one inside the home was hurt according to the Peoria Fire Department, and the estimated costs of damages is roughly $60,000.
