One Class at a Time: Game Day at Norwood Primary
Mrs. Barb is developing adaptations to popular games for students and peer buddies.
PEORIA (25 News Now) - Mrs. Barb a speech-language pathologist with almost 30 years experience enjoys communicating with her students.
As a representative of the Special Education Association of Peoria County or SEAPCO, she’s providing a different type of game day fun for her classroom.
“These games that we create, although they are super fun, they cost a lot of money. In order to make the adaptations that we need to make so our students can participate in them takes a lot of time and resources.” -- says Barb.
She says developing adaptations to popular gams could not be possible without help from highly motivated peer buddies.
